Welcome to the Important Dublin Phone Numbers Section,
part of the Dublin Uncovered guide to Dublin, Ireland.

Welcome to the Dublin Important Dublin Phone Numbers Section, in which we include some important telephone numbers which will come in handy while visiting Dublin or anywhere in Ireland. In general Dublin phone numbers begin with the prefix 01 followed by the local number, when dialling from abroad you drop the 0 and insert the country code 353.

Therefore when ring abroad, you ring 00(for international) 353(for Ireland) 1(for Dublin) followed by seven numbers which are the local numbers. The next digit in the phone number tells where in Dublin the number terminates. 4 for example is usually in the city centre and the west of the city, 9 is South dublin, 6 are Southwest and 8 is North and Northwest. The numbers can however vary, so this is not a definate rule.
